Namadgi School in Kambah

Street Art for Electricity Box in Canberra

This mural took place out the front of a school in Kambah, Canberra called Namadgi.

The electrical box was being vandalised which wasn’t giving a great image for out the front of the school and next to the bus stop.

With the new new mural design it brought it to life as well as intergrating some protive messaging.

Now when the students are dropped off by parents on their way out there are greeted with this new brightly coloured mural. Same for when the kids get off and on the bus too.

Master of School Murals & Workshops

Originally I was trained in fine arts with a focus on illustration, painting and letterpress (hand set typography). Later on I learnt to use Photoshop and Illustrator combined with other modern digital illustration software techniques.

Now with this combination of traditional & digital illustration I focus my work around commercial murals for schools. As a street artist if I can to contribute a positive learning space through art that makes the place more enjoyable for people then my imagination and creativity has served me well.
