Canberra College Mural
Created in collaboration with students and teachers, this custom mural at Narrabundah College in Canberra transformed a prominent campus wall into a vibrant celebration of learning and local identity.
Positioned in a highly visible location, the mural is seen daily by students, staff, visitors, and members of the public outside school hours. The design reflects subjects taught within the surrounding classrooms while incorporating native Canberra birdlife, creating a strong connection between the school and its local environment.
The project was designed to be a hands-on community experience, with students and staff actively contributing to the painting process. For many students, participating in the mural formed part of their curriculum, providing a valuable opportunity to develop creative skills while leaving a lasting mark on their school.
Today, the mural brings colour, energy, and personality to the space, creating a more welcoming and inspiring environment that continues to impact everyone who passes by positively.
