Wenona School Mural Workshop in Sydney
Wenona School in Sydney requested as a part of their exploring self-expression week a mural workshop for around 100 of their year 5 students.
There were about 100 students who participated in the mural workshop. I had to break the students up on average of 30 students per group. The wall that we used in the mural workshop was around 15metres in length.
With having groups of 30 students, they all easily fitted along the wall with adequate space for painting the mural along the wall.
The first part of the mural workshop was conducted online with a video presentation and workshop sheets for the students to fill out.
With the feedback from the students, I then presented a selection of mural concepts before selecting and refining one of the murals to be painted over the workshop duration.
The mural workshop was a success with all the students enjoying and participating in the painting of the wall.
